Rabbi's Omnibus Adult Education
The Rabbi’s Omnibus Adult Education Adult education programs are conducted annually by Rabbi Gladstone. The program has been a tremendous success with our congregation and meets weekly on Tuesdays at 1:30pm in the Zeik Auditorium at the Temple. The sessions are attended by Temple members and individuals from the wider Jewish community. Rabbi Gladstone also provides instruction in Hebrew for adults. Registration is not required and all are welcome to attend on a drop-in basis. Classes resumed on January 6, 2010 and will conclude on May 11th.
The evening winter adult education course, “Job and the Problem of Undeserved Suffering,” explores the commonly held religious view that good will be rewarded by good, and evil will be punished by evil. Yet, experience teaches that the righteous often suffer while the wicked flourish and prosper. So how do we reconcile a just God with the suffering of the innocent?
Beginner-Level Hebrew for Adults
An adult beginner level Hebrew class resumed on January 5, 2009 at 10:00am. Those needing to brush-up the basics are also welcome to attend. To join the class, please call the Temple office or just show up on Mondays.
The class began in January. It is offered on a weekday evening. Students should bring a Bible or Tanakh to each class. Please call the Temple office to register or for more information.
