TEMPLE BETH AM

Temple Beth Am is Bayonne’s Reform congregation,
affiliated
with the Union for Reform Judaism.

Reform Judaism is the modern interpretation of our
traditional Jewish heritage. The eternal elements of
Judaism are expressed in a language and form that
is meaningful to the contemporary mind
and spirit.

Ceremonies and services add beauty and dignity to
Jewish life and lead to a fuller appreciation of
Jewish moral, ethical, and religious values.

Membership in Temple Beth Am will unite you
with your People and your heritage. You and your
family will become partners in the growth and life
of our synagogue.

You will share in the joy and satisfaction
of being part of a dynamic center of religious,
educational, cultural, and social activities.

Temple Beth Am is accessible to all as there are no stairs to enter or within the building.

URJ HAITI Relief Fund

Union for Reform Judaism Haiti Refief Fund

A severe earthquake measuring 7.0 on the Richter scale devastated Haiti om January 12, 2010.
This is the most severe earthquake to hit that impoverished country in 200 years. The epicenter
was near the capital of Port-au-Prince. According to the International Red Cross, up to 3 million
people have been affected by the quake.

As in the past, the Reform Jewish community has a long history of generosity when natural
disasters devastate communities around the world. Your generosity at this critical time enables
us to play a role in recovery efforts and bring healing and hope to those whose lives have been
affected.

Donations made payable to the Union for Reform Judaism Haiti Refief Fund can be sent
(note: "Haiti Relief" in the check's memo section) to:

Union for Reform Judaism
Attention: Development
633 Third Avenue - 7th Floor
New York, NY 10017

Note: The Union for Reform Judaism retains no overhead expenses for disaster relief donations,
other than the direct costs of credit card fees.

Or, if you prefer, you can mail your check (as denoted above) the Temple Beth Am
and we will forward it to the URJ.
