Welcome to

TEMPLE BETH AM

smaller welcome photo

Temple Beth Am is Bayonne’s Reform congregation,
affiliated
with the Union for Reform Judaism.

Reform Judaism is the modern interpretation of our
traditional Jewish heritage. The eternal elements of
Judaism are expressed in a language and form that
is meaningful to the contemporary mind
and spirit.

Ceremonies and services add beauty and dignity to
Jewish life and lead to a fuller appreciation of
Jewish moral, ethical, and religious values.

Membership in Temple Beth Am will unite you
with your People and your heritage. You and your
family will become partners in the growth and life
of our synagogue.

You will share in the joy and satisfaction
of being part of a dynamic center of religious,
educational, cultural, and social activities.

Temple Beth Am is accessible to all as there are no stairs to enter or within the building.

SABBATH SERVICE REMINDER
After the long winter, Shabbat services have resumed on Friday nights as of April 5. Following services we have an Oneg Shabbat.

Please consider providing an Oneg Shabbat, perhaps in memory of a loved one, in celebration of a family simcha, or perhaps "just because." If you are interested in claiming a particular date, please contact the Temple Office at 201-858-2020

BOOK CLUB
MIDWIFE OF VENICE, a novel set in 16th Century Venice, relating the story of a Jewish midwife enmeshed in the intrigues of the life of Venetian royalty. By: Robert Rich Wednesday, June 12th at 4pm at Temple Beth Am

BAKELESS CAKE SALE
By participating in this fundraiser, you save time, avoiding the trip to the supermarket to buy ingredients -- there’s no traffic, no waiting in line. And, you help save the earth’s ozone layer by not running the car engine. Best of all, you avoid spending an afternoon in the kitchen, mixing and cleaning, wondering whether or not the cake will rise. All that your Sisterhood asks is that you make a donation to cover the unbaked cakes, with love.

Thanks in advance for your generous help.
